1. Who is Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT)?
For nearly 50 years, Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) has provided high-quality affordable treatment for patients with addiction to drugs, alcohol or gambling. Located in Cincinnati just one block from the Museum Center/Union Terminal, CAT annually serves about 2,400 men & women age 18+  with its comprehensive continuum of care.

As the only non-hospital-based medically monitored detox facility in the region, CAT provides individualized care through short-term residential, outpatient medication-assisted treatment, mental health counseling, primary care and a comprehensive family education program.

Support services such as Continuing Care, Peer Mentors and the CAT Alumni & Friends group, plus on-site weekly meetings of Al-Anon and Nar-Anon family groups round out CAT's center of hope.

Today CAT has thousands of alums who are on the path to recovery and leading sober lives. For more information on treatment for alcohol, drug or gambling addiction visit

Great question! "Family-Friendly" means our event is open to people of all ages and even pets! The only competition at CAT-Fest 2018 is to see who can raise the most money!

You are more than welcome to bring your little ones; our event will take place on the Purple People Bridge, which is very easy to navigate and definitely stroller accessible. Children under the age of five are free. Your friendly, furry, four-legged family members are welcome too, just be sure they are up-to-date on all vaccinations and keep them on a leash at all times. Aggressive dogs are not permitted.
10. What will happen in the event of inclement weather?
The CAT-Fest will occur rain or shine! Unless the National Weather Service issues a WARNING for the area, we will light the way!
